Riley/Mullen finished 3-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Riley/Mullen lost 10-2 to Olivia Jones/Dustin Mikush (Saskatoon, SK), then responded with a 8-4 win over Valerie Tanguay/Denis Robichaud (Saguenay, QC).
