Horton went on to lose 6-4 against Christina Black (Halifax, NS). Horton responded with a 7-0 win over Lauren Mann (Timmins, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.

Horton earned 14.875 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Summer Series, moving up 87 spots the World Ranking Standings into 105th place overall with 19.313 total points. Horton ranks 17th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 14.875 points earned so far this season.
