Christina Black (Halifax, NS) lost 5-4 to Danielle Inglis (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the Summer Series, held August 24 - 27, 2023 in St-Felicien, Quebec. To advance to the championship game, Black won 7-3 over Laurie St-Georges (Montreal, QC) in the semifinals of the 2023 Summer Series in St-Felicien, Quebec; and won 5-3 over Lauren Mann (Timmins, NONT) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 Summer Series in St-Felicien, Quebec;
 
Black finished 3-1 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Black defeated Kelsey Boyd (Montreal, QC) 7-1, then won 6-4 against Lauren Horton (Montreal, QC) and 8-4 against Leanne Fortin (Saguenay, QC). Black went on to lose 9-5 against Inglis in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Summer Series, Black take home 19.250 world rankings points along with the $3,500CDN prize. For week 5 of the event schedule, Black did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 257th to 261st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 1.125 total points. Black ranks 116th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.000 points earned so far this season.
