Sam Mooibroek (Whitby, ON) run at the 2023 Summer Series came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-4 loss to Owen Purcell (Halifax, NS). of the 2023 Summer Series in St-Felicien, Quebec;

Mooibroek finished 4-0 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mooibroek defeated Zackary Wise (Montreal , QC) 11-5, then won 8-2 against Jacques Taillon (Saguenay, QC) and 6-5 against Robert Desjardins (Saguenay, QC). Mooibroek won 7-1 against Purcell in their final qualifying round match.

Mooibroek earned 10.625 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Summer Series, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 34th place overall with 119.375 total points. Mooibroek ranks 27th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 10.625 points earned so far this season.
