Johnston finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Johnston defeated Emma Yarmuch (Edmonton, AB) 9-2, then won 7-4 against Alberta's Mikayla Cook and 7-6 against Alberta's Irelande McMahon in their final qualifying round match.
