Xueqing Fei (Beijing, CHN) won 6-3 over Ryan Parent (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the McKee Homes Fall Curling Classic, held October 7 - 9, 2023 at the Airdrie Curling Club in Airdrie, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Fei won 7-5 over Cole Adams (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals of the 2023 McKee Homes Fall Curling Classic in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada; and won 8-6 over Kohsuke Hirata (Kitami, JPN) in the quarterfinals.
Fei finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fei defeated Parker Konschuh (Edmonton, AB) 6-2, then went on to lose 6-4 against Rhett Friesz (Airdrie, AB). Fei lost 6-5 to Adams where Fei responded with a 6-2 win over Jared Jenkins (Calgary, AB). Fei won 4-2 against Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the McKee Homes Fall Curling Classic Championship title, Fei earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $3,200CDN first prize cheque, moving up 40 spots the World Ranking Standings into 103rd place overall with 30.750 total points. Fei ranks 53rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 17.250 points earned so far this season.
