Retornaz lost 4-2 to Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) where Retornaz responded with a 6-4 win over Brent Pierce (New Westminster, BC). Retornaz won 7-5 against Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
Retornaz earned 29.750 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Astec Safety Challenge, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 7.75 after improving upon their best so far this season. Retornaz ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 363.375 points earned so far this season.
