Bottcher won 7-1 against Mike McEwen (Saskatoon, SK), then won 7-4 against Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

For week 25 of the event schedule, Bottcher did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 2nd place on the World Ranking Standings with 387.250 total points. Bottcher ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 296.750 points earned so far this season.
