Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) qualified for the 2023 Hack2House Alberta Curling Series Major playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-3 against Kate Cameron (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2023 Hack2House Alberta Curling Series Major in Beaumont, Alberta, Canada;

Sturmay finished 3-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sturmay defeated Michelle Hartwell (Sherwood Park, AB) 6-5, then went on to lose 7-4 against Cameron. Sturmay responded with a 6-4 win over Serena Gray-Withers (Edmonton, AB). Sturmay won 6-3 against Miyu Ueno (Karuizawa, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Sturmay earned 12.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Hack2House Alberta Curling Series Major, remaining in 40th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 96.563 total points. Sturmay ranks 44th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 17.250 points earned so far this season.
