Claire Viau (Portage, WI) finished 2-5 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Viau defeated Gracia Berg (Bemidji, MN) 10-8, then went on to lose 10-4 against Miranda Scheel (Eau Claire, WI). Viau lost 8-1 to Julia Pekowitz (Natick, MA). Viau lost 9-6 to Bella Hagenbuch (North Utica, IL) where Viau responded with a 7-3 win over Kenna Ponzio (Lakeville, MN). Viau went on to lose 11-4 against Allory Johnson (Blaine, MN). Viau lost 9-6 to Sophia Ryhorchuk (St. Paul, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

Viau earned 1.125 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 36 of the event schedule, Viau did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Viau ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
