Alina Paetz/Sven Michael (Aarau, SUI) lost 10-2 to Briar Schwaller/Yannick Schwaller (Bern, SUI) in the Final of the Swiss Mixed Doubles Championship, held March 1 - 5, 2023 in St. Gallen, Switzerland.

Paetz/Michael finished 8-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Paetz/Michael defeated Lea Hueppi/Jonas Weiss (Dubendorf, SUI) 8-2, then won 9-3 against Selina Witschonke/Simon Gloor (St. Moritz, SUI) and 12-1 against Switzerland's Stephanie Kupper/Thomas Kupper. Paetz/Michael won 12-3 against Marina Loertscher/Pablo Lachat (Lausanne, SUI), then won 6-4 against Sarah Mueller/Marco Hoesli (Bern, SUI) and 6-5 against Schwaller/Schwaller. Paetz/Michael won 11-0 against Sarah Schaar/Michael Bugnon (Flims, SUI), then won 8-5 against Daniela Rupp/Kevin Wunderlin (Zug, SUI). Paetz/Michael went on to lose 8-5 against Jenny Perret/Martin Rios (Glarus, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Swiss Mixed Doubles Championship, Paetz/Michael take home 22.000 world rankings points. For week 31 of the event schedule, Paetz/Michael did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Paetz/Michael ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
