Tirinzoni finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tirinzoni defeated Tanya Hilliard (Halifax, NS) 8-2, then won 7-2 against Jocelyn Adams (Halifax, NS) and 6-1 against Isabelle Ladouceur (Whitby, ON). Tirinzoni won 5-4 against Christina Black (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Stu Sells 1824 Halifax Classic Championship title, Tirinzoni earned 37.500 world rankings points along with the $7,500CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 16.5 after improving upon their best so far this season. Tirinzoni ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 146.250 points earned so far this season.
