Kessel lost 10-4 to Emily Bowles (Victoria, BC). Kessel lost 8-5 to Elizabeth Cyr (Pointe-Claire, QC) where Kessel responded with a 13-8 win over Bayly Scoffin (Whitehorse, YK). Kessel went on to lose 9-2 against Bella Croisier (Sudbury, NONT). Kessel responded with a 7-3 win over Zoey Terrick (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Kessel earned 2.250 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 35 of the event schedule, Kessel did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kessel ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
