Anne Sophie Gionest (Alma, QC) finished 3-5 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gionest lost 14-6 to Sophie Blades (Chester, NS), droppimg another game, 9-3 to Mackenzie Mitchell (St.John's, NL). Gionest lost 12-2 to Grace Beaudry (Winnipeg, MB). Gionest lost 5-3 to Ella Lenentine (Cornwall, PEI) where Gionest responded with a 5-4 win over Melodie Forsythe (Fredericton, NB). Gionest won 10-4 against Reese Wainman (Inuvik, NT), then won 7-6 against Tori Zemmelink (Ottawa, ON). Gionest went on to lose 10-6 against Jenna Campbell (Fredericton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

Gionest earned 3.375 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 35 of the event schedule, Gionest did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Gionest ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
