Serena Gray-Withers (Edmonton, AB) won 5-4 over Marin Callaghan (Halifax, NS) in the Final of the USPORT Curling Canada University Championships, held March 15 - 19, 2023 in Sudbury, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Gray-Withers won 7-6 over Mackenzie Mitchell (St.John's, NL) in the semifinals of the 2023 USPORT Curling Canada University Championships in Sudbury, Ontario;
 
Gray-Withers finished 4-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gray-Withers defeated Kayla Wilson (Victoria, BC) 8-6, then won 8-7 against Maddy Warriner (Hamilton, ON). Gray-Withers went on to lose 11-6 against Bella Croisier (Sudbury, ON). Gray-Withers lost 10-9 to Courtney Auld (Toronto, ON). Gray-Withers lost 9-5 to Callaghan where Gray-Withers responded with a 10-4 win over Rachel MacLean (Charlottetown, PEI). Gray-Withers won 10-3 against Mitchell in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the USPORT Curling Canada University Championships Championship title, Gray-Withers earned 11.250 world rankings points. Gray-Withers move up 5 spots after posting a net gain of 9 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 31st overall with 104.250 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
