Horgan finished 4-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Horgan lost 7-5 to Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB), then responded with a 9-4 win over Aden Kavanaugh (Halifax, NS). Horgan won 8-4 against Purdy, then won 7-5 against Jamie Stewart (Federicton, NB). Horgan went on to lose 5-3 against McEachren. Horgan responded with a 6-4 win over Kenan Wipf (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their fourth place finish at the USPORT Curling Canada University Championships, Horgan take home 3.000 world rankings points. For week 33 of the event schedule, Horgan did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Horgan ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
