Ann Swisshelm (Detroit, MI) lost 8-4 to Sere Politano (Ardsley, NY) in the Final of the USA Curling Club National Championships, held March 16 - 19, 2023 in Wausau, Wisconsin. To advance to the championship game, Swisshelm won 10-1 over Mandy Hampton (Madison, WI) in the semifinals
 
Swisshelm finished 3-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Swisshelm defeated Jamie Kraus (Duluth, MN) 10-1, then went on to lose 4-3 against Politano. Swisshelm responded with a 6-3 win over Sarah Walsh (Oakland, CA). Swisshelm went on to lose 9-7 against Julie Segovia (Houston, TX). Swisshelm responded with a 10-1 win over Adriana Camarena (Oakland, CA) in their final qualifying round match.
