Harstad finished 5-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Harstad defeated Lars Aspeli (Lillehammer, NOR) 8-3, then won 9-0 against Kjetil Bjoerke (Bygdoy, NOR) and 7-5 against Anders Mjoen (Oppdal, NOR). Harstad won 7-5 against Mjoen, then won 10-2 against Johan Herfjord (Trondheim, NOR). Harstad went on to lose 7-5 against Walstad in their final qualifying round match.

With their fourth place finish at the Norwegian National Championship, Harstad take home 14.000 world rankings points. For week 32 of the event schedule, Harstad did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
