Johan Herfjord (Trondheim, NOR) 8-7, then went on to lose 7-2 against Steffen Walstad (Oslo, NOR). Kvarner lost 9-7 to Patrick Kverkild (Trondheim, NOR) where Kvarner responded with a 5-4 win over Lars Aspeli (Lillehammer, NOR). Kvarner won 6-2 against Kverkild in their final qualifying round match.
