In their opening game, Schoell/Harsch defeated Rachele Scalesse/Fabrizio Gallo (Pinerolo, ITA) 10-4, then won 7-6 against Maurino/Gonin and 10-4 against Veronica Zappone/Marco Pascale (Pinerolo, ITA). Schoell/Harsch won 13-2 against Radha Singh Torta/Matteo Bonnet (Pinerolo, ITA), then won 14-1 against Margarita Stoyan/Maxim Stoian (Chisinau, MD) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Pinerolo Mixed Doubles Cup Championship title, Schoell/Harsch earned 11.250 world rankings points along with the $1,000CDN first prize cheque.
