Robyn MacDonald/Philip MacDonald (Montague, PEI) lost 13-3 to Jenny White/Ed White (Summerside, PEI) in the Final of the PEI Mixed Doubles Championship, held February 2 - 5, 2023 in Montague, Prince Edward Island. To advance to the championship game, MacDonald/MacDonald won 9-5 over Lauren MacFayden/Alex MacFayden (Summerside, PEI) in the semifinals of the 2023 PEI Mixed Doubles Championship in Montague, Prince Edward Island;
 
MacDonald/MacDonald finished 7-2 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, MacDonald/MacDonald defeated White/White 8-7, then went on to lose 9-7 against Heather Drake/Thomas Annear (Montague, PEI). MacDonald/MacDonald lost 8-3 to Mollie Shaw/Luke Butler (Montague, PEI) where MacDonald/MacDonald responded with a 8-4 win over Kaitlin MacDonald/Donald Clarey (Montague, PEI). MacDonald/MacDonald won 7-5 against Robin Muzzerall/Calvin Smith (Crapaud, PEI), then won 8-4 against Tammy Dewar/Nick Blanchard (Montague, PEI) and 7-6 against Sinead Dolan/Mitch O'Shea (Cornwall, PEI). MacDonald/MacDonald won 9-7 against Miranda Ellis/Jamie Newson (Summerside, PEI), then won 7-6 against White/White in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the PEI Mixed Doubles Championship, MacDonald/MacDonald take home 5.500 world rankings points. For week 27 of the event schedule, MacDonald/MacDonald did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. MacDonald/MacDonald ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
