Riley/Mullen finished 4-0 in the 21-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Riley/Mullen defeated Sophie Belley/Roger Lavoie (Nairn, QC) 11-1, then won 11-1 against Quebec's Audrey Boyer/Damian Pilie and 8-1 against Sophie Sanscartier/Maxandre Caron (Boucherville, QC).
