Zheng/Pietrangelo Reaches 2023 Mixed Doubles Provincial Championship Quarters

Jessica Zheng/Victor Pietrangelo (Niagara Falls, ON) qualified for the 2023 Mixed Doubles Provincial Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 9-4 against Terri Weeks/Sam Steep (Waterloo, ON). of the 2023 Mixed Doubles Provincial Championship in Kingston, Ontario;

Zheng/Pietrangelo finished 3-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Zheng/Pietrangelo lost 9-8 to Riley Sandham/Brendan Craig (Guelph, ON), droppimg another game, 9-7 to Sheri Greenman/Michael Zuliani (Unionville, ON) where Zheng/Pietrangelo responded with a 8-5 win over Erin Titkai/Eric Fenech (Toronto, ON). Zheng/Pietrangelo won 8-5 against Stephanie Thompson/Matt Lowe (Unionville, ON), then won 7-5 against Laura Neil/Scott McDonald (St. Thomas, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Zheng/Pietrangelo earned 9.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Mixed Doubles Provincial Championship. For week 30 of the event schedule, Zheng/Pietrangelo did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Zheng/Pietrangelo ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
