Ross Craik (Forfar, SCO) run at the 2023 Scottish Curling Junior Championships came to an end in the semifinals with a 10-4 loss to Orrin Carson (Dumfries, SCO). of the 2023 Scottish Curling Junior Championships in Aberdeen, Scotland;
Craik finished 6-2 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Craik defeated David Beesley (Edinburgh, SCO) 9-4, then won 10-3 against Ethan Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO) and 5-4 against Jack Strawhorn (Dumfries, SCO). Craik went on to lose 8-6 against Carson. Craik responded with a 7-4 win over Gavin Cameron (Moray, SCO). Craik won 9-4 against Arran Thomson (Perth, SCO), then won 10-4 against Stewart Kyle (Dumfries, SCO). Craik went on to lose 11-7 against Fraser Swanston (Forfar, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
Craik earned 4.250 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Scottish Curling Junior Championships, moving up 16 spots the World Ranking Standings into 152nd place overall with 17.097 total points. Craik ranks 195th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.250 points earned so far this season.
