Kalk/MacAlpine lost 7-6 to Alberta's Catherine Clifford/Desmond Young where Kalk/MacAlpine responded with a 8-4 win over Broderson/Kleibrink. Kalk/MacAlpine won 8-5 against Paige Papley/Evan van Amsterdam (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
