Horgan won 6-4 against Nathan Young (St. John's, NL), then won 10-6 against Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, NT) and 9-3 against Kelly Knapp (Regina, SK). Horgan won 7-4 against Matthew Manuel (Halifax, NS). Horgan went on to lose 9-2 against Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
