Matthew Manuel (Halifax, NS) 5-4, then won 7-4 against Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT) and 8-4 against Kelly Knapp (Regina, SK). Koe won 9-7 against Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB), then won 6-4 against Nathan Young (St. John's, NL) and 10-1 against Jake Higgs (Iqaluit, NU). Koe went on to lose 9-5 against Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB). Koe responded with a 10-6 win over Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, NT) in their final qualifying round match.
