Tessa Thurlow (Eau Claire, USA) finished 3-6 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Thurlow defeated Bobae Kang (Songhyun, KOR) 10-3, then went on to lose 10-4 against Yuina Miura (Nayoro, JPN). Thurlow lost 8-1 to Xenia Schwaller (ZÃ¼rich, SUI). Thurlow lost 7-3 to Moa Dryburgh (Sundbyberg, SWE). Thurlow lost 10-2 to Sara Messenzehl (Fuessen, GER). Thurlow lost 8-5 to Torhild Bjoernstad (Lillehammer, NOR) where Thurlow responded with a 9-7 win over Emily Deschenes (Chester, CAN). Thurlow won 9-7 against Evelina Barone (Riga, LAT). Thurlow went on to lose 8-7 against Fay Henderson (Dumfries, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Thurlow earned 3.938 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 31 of the event schedule, Thurlow did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Thurlow ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
