In their opening game, Schwaller defeated Miura 5-4, then won 8-1 against Sara Messenzehl (Fuessen, GER) and 8-1 against Tessa Thurlow (Eau Claire, USA). Schwaller won 8-7 against Evelina Barone (Riga, LAT), then won 7-2 against Bjoernstad and 10-2 against Fay Henderson (Dumfries, SCO). Schwaller won 7-1 against Moa Dryburgh (Sundbyberg, SWE), then won 7-6 against Bobae Kang (Songhyun, KOR) and 8-6 against Emily Deschenes (Chester, CAN) in their final qualifying round match.
