Fay Henderson (Dumfries, SCO) won 9-7 over Yuina Miura (Nayoro, JPN) in the Final of the World Junior Curling Championships, held February 25 - March 4, 2023 in Fuessen, Germany. To advance to the championship game, Henderson won 6-5 over Torhild Bjoernstad (Lillehammer, NOR) in the semifinals of the 2023 World Junior Curling Championships in Fuessen, Germany;

Henderson finished 6-3 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Henderson defeated Sara Messenzehl (Fuessen, GER) 7-5, then won 8-5 against Evelina Barone (Riga, LAT) and 4-3 against Miura. Henderson went on to lose 7-6 against Emily Deschenes (Chester, CAN). Henderson responded with a 8-6 win over Moa Dryburgh (Sundbyberg, SWE). Henderson went on to lose 10-2 against Xenia Schwaller (ZÃ¼rich, SUI). Henderson responded with a 6-5 win over Bobae Kang (Songhyun, KOR). Henderson went on to lose 7-6 against Bjoernstad. Henderson responded with a 8-7 win over Tessa Thurlow (Eau Claire, USA) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the World Junior Curling Championships Championship title, Henderson earned 26.250 world rankings points, moving up 22 spots the World Ranking Standings into 51st place overall with 67.764 total points. Henderson ranks 48th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 65.125 points earned so far this season.
