Sara Messenzehl (Fuessen, GER) finished 2-7 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Messenzehl lost 7-5 to Fay Henderson (Dumfries, SCO), droppimg another game, 8-1 to Xenia Schwaller (ZÃ¼rich, SUI) where Messenzehl responded with a 8-3 win over Evelina Barone (Riga, LAT). Messenzehl went on to lose 8-5 against Bobae Kang (Songhyun, KOR). Messenzehl responded with a 10-2 win over Tessa Thurlow (Eau Claire, USA). Messenzehl went on to lose 13-4 against Moa Dryburgh (Sundbyberg, SWE). Messenzehl lost 6-5 to Yuina Miura (Nayoro, JPN). Messenzehl lost 7-6 to Emily Deschenes (Chester, CAN). Messenzehl lost 11-8 to Torhild Bjoernstad (Lillehammer, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

Messenzehl earned 2.625 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 31 of the event schedule, Messenzehl did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Messenzehl ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
