Kelsey Rocque (Winnipeg, MB) lost 6-1 to Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC) in the Final of the SGI Canada Best of the West, held April 20 - 23, 2023 at the Nutana Curling Club in Saskatoon, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Rocque won 5-2 over Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals of the 2023 SGI Canada Best of the West in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 5-2 over Taylor Reese-Hansen (Victoria, BC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 SGI Canada Best of the West in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada;
 
Rocque finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rocque defeated Jessica Mitchell (Saskatoon, SK) 5-4, then won 7-5 against Serena Gray-Withers (Edmonton, AB) and 7-4 against Elysa Crough (Edmonton, AB). Rocque went on to lose 6-3 against Brown in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the SGI Canada Best of the West, Rocque take home 16.500 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN prize, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 39th place overall with 89.813 total points. Rocque ranks 39th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 89.813 points earned so far this season.
