To advance to the championship game, Jones won 7-6 over James Grattan (Oromocto, NB) in the semifinals of the 2023 New Brunswick Tankard in Moncton, New Brunswick;
 
Jones finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones defeated New Brunswick's Trevor Hanson 8-5, then won 5-4 against Alex Robichaud (Fredericton, NB). Jones went on to lose 13-1 against Mike Kennedy (Fredericton, NB). Jones responded with a 8-4 win over Zack Eldridge (Fredericton, NB). Jones went on to lose 9-8 against Roach. Jones responded with a 7-2 win over Jack Smeltzer (Fredericton, NB). Jones won 8-7 against Grattan in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the New Brunswick Tankard Championship title, Jones earned 7.500 world rankings points, moving up 13 spots the World Ranking Standings into 113th place overall with 29.238 total points. Jones ranks 110th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 27.375 points earned so far this season.
