To advance to the championship game, Roenning/Braenden won 8-7 over Ingvild Skaga/Nicolai Sommervold (Stabekk, NOR) in the semifinals of the 2023 Norwegian Mixed Doubles Championship in Haugesund, Norway; and won 10-3 over Eirin Mesloe/Willhelm Naess (Oppdal, NOR) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 Norwegian Mixed Doubles Championship in Haugesund, Norway;
Roenning/Braenden finished 2-1 in the 13-team qualifying round. .
