Lander/Holtermann Runner-Up at 2023 Gefle Mixed Doubles Cup

Jasmin Lander/Henrik Holtermann (Hvidovre, DEN) lost 9-5 to Kristin Moen Skaslien/Magnus Nedregotten (Oslo, NOR) in the Final of the Gefle Mixed Doubles Cup, held January 26 - 29, 2023 in Gavle, Sweden. To advance to the championship game, Lander/Holtermann won 7-4 over Nilla Hallstroem/Johannes Patz (Stockholm, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2023 Gefle Mixed Doubles Cup in Gavle, Sweden; and won 12-7 over Lotta Immonen/Markus Sipila (Hyvinkaa, FIN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 Gefle Mixed Doubles Cup in Gavle, Sweden;

Lander/Holtermann finished 2-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lander/Holtermann lost 8-7 to Camilla Noreen/Simon Granbom (Stockholm, SWE), then responded with a 7-4 win over Marie Kaldvee/Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST). Lander/Holtermann won 7-6 against Filippa Jillehed/Pontus Persson (Norrkoping, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Gefle Mixed Doubles Cup, Lander/Holtermann take home 27.500 world rankings points along with the $1,150CDN prize. For week 26 of the event schedule, Lander/Holtermann did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
