Johnny Eriksson (Silverstenen, SWE) qualified for the 2023 Swedish Curling Championships playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-2 against Simon Granbom (Gavle, SWE). of the 2023 Swedish Curling Championships in Karlstad, Sweden;

Eriksson finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Eriksson lost 9-2 to Axel Landelius (MjÃ¶lby, SWE), then responded with a 8-1 win over Jonas Eden (Gothenberg, SWE). Eriksson won 8-7 against Niclas Perem (Gothenburg, SWE). Eriksson went on to lose 8-1 against Fredrik Nyman (Solleftea, SWE). Eriksson responded with a 8-4 win over Fredrik Julius (Sundbyberg, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

Eriksson earned 10.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Swedish Curling Championships. For week 27 of the event schedule, Eriksson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Eriksson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
