Johan Hakansson (Karlstad, SWE) finished 2-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hakansson lost 7-6 to Oskar Eriksson (Karlstad, SWE), then responded with a 1-0 win over Emil Markusson (Ostersund, SWE). Hakansson lost 7-4 to Thomas Nordgren (Falu, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
