Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) won 6-4 over Corrie Huerlimann (Zug, SUI) in the Final Tirinzoni advanced directly to the championship game after finishing first in the preliminary round. of the Swiss Curling Championships, held February 11 - 18, 2023 in Geneve-Thonex, Switzerland.
Tirinzoni finished 6-2 in the 5-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tirinzoni defeated Huerlimann 8-7, then won 8-4 against Nora Wuest (Wallisellen, SUI) and 9-3 against Raphaela Keiser (St. Moritz, SUI). Tirinzoni won 7-6 against Michele Jaeggi (Bern, SUI), then won 8-3 against Wuest and 10-3 against Huerlimann. Tirinzoni went on to lose 7-6 against Jaeggi. Tirinzoni lost 6-5 to Keiser in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Swiss Curling Championships Championship title, Tirinzoni earned 22.500 world rankings points. For week 29 of the event schedule, Tirinzoni did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 3rd place on the World Ranking Standings with 335.817 total points. Tirinzoni ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 307.750 points earned so far this season.
