In their opening game, Hoesli lost 9-7 to Jan Hess (Zug, SUI), droppimg another game, 9-5 to Jan Iseli (Solothun-Biel, SUI) where Hoesli responded with a 7-4 win over Kim Schwaller (Zug, SUI). Hoesli won 9-5 against Christian Gebert (Aarau, SUI), then won 7-4 against Yannick Schwaller (Geneve, SUI) and 6-5 against Andrin Schnider (Schaffhausen, SUI). Hoesli went on to lose 5-3 against Michael Brunner (Bern, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

Hoesli earned 22.000 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Swiss Curling Championships. Hoesli move up 5 spots after posting a net gain of 14.5 points improving upon their best 7 results so far this season, ranking 23rd overall with 136.313 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
