Yannick Schwaller (Geneve, SUI) won 7-4 over Michael Brunner (Bern, SUI) in the Final of the Swiss Curling Championships, held February 11 - 18, 2023 in Geneve-Thonex, Switzerland.
 
Schwaller finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schwaller defeated Brunner 7-2, then won 9-5 against Christian Bangerter (Bern, SUI) and 7-1 against Andrin Schnider (Schaffhausen, SUI). Schwaller won 7-6 against Manuel Jermann (Basel, SUI). Schwaller went on to lose 7-4 against Marco Hoesli (Glarus, SUI). Schwaller responded with a 8-2 win over Jan Iseli (Solothun-Biel, SUI). Schwaller won 6-4 against Jan Hess (Zug, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Swiss Curling Championships Championship title, Schwaller earned 41.250 world rankings points, remaining in 7th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 11.5 after improving upon their best so far this season. Schwaller ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 257.750 points earned so far this season.
