McCarville finished 5-1 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McCarville defeated Hailey Beaudry (Fort Frances, NONT) 12-0, then won 9-2 against Nicole Westlund Stewart (Thunder Bay, NONT) and 10-0 against Jennifer Briscoe (Thunder Bay, NONT). McCarville won 10-2 against Jackie McCormick (Stratton, NONT). McCarville went on to lose 10-9 against Bella Croisier (Sudbury, NONT). McCarville responded with a 9-2 win over Burns in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Unibet Northern Ontario Scotties Championship title, McCarville earned 3.750 world rankings points, remaining in 50th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 67.145 total points. McCarville ranks 93rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 25.875 points earned so far this season.
