Persinger/Plys won 8-6 against Kim Rhyme/Jason Smith (Minneapolis, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

Persinger/Plys earned 25.500 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the USA Curling Mixed Doubles National Championship, moving up 33 spots the World Ranking Standings into 709th place overall with 61.454 total points.
