To advance to the championship game, Han won 6-5 over Delaney Strouse (Minneapolis, USA) in the semifinals of the 2023 World University Games: Lake Placid 2023 in Lake Placid, New York;
Han finished 7-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Han defeated Carmen Perez (San Sebastian, ESP) 9-5, then won 9-2 against Corrie Huerlimann (Zug, SUI) and 6-4 against Emma Moberg (Stockholm, SWE). Han won 9-2 against Australia's Kirby Gill, then won 7-4 against Abby Marks (Edmonton, CAN) and 6-3 against Fay Henderson (Dumfries, GBR). Han won 7-3 against Sae Yamamoto (Sapporo, JPN). Han went on to lose 5-3 against Strouse. Han lost 8-6 to Ha in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the World University Games: Lake Placid 2023 Championship title, Han earned 18.750 world rankings points. For week 25 of the event schedule, Han did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Han ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
