To advance to the championship game, Carss won 6-2 over Kody Hartung (Saskatoon, SK) in the semifinals of the 2023 SaskTour Mens Players Championship in Swift Current, Saskatchewan; and won 6-2 over Dallan Muyres (Saskatoon , SK) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 SaskTour Mens Players Championship in Swift Current, Saskatchewan;
Carss finished 3-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Carss lost 8-4 to Jeff Hartung (Langenburg, SK), then responded with a 11-3 win over Jaedon Miller (Saskatoon, SK). Carss won 7-4 against Daymond Bernath (Saskatoon, SK) to advance to the B-Qualifier where they 6-1 against Hartung to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the SaskTour Mens Players Championship, Carss take home 13.750 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize. For week 24 of the event schedule, Carss did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Carss ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
