Aiden Fitzgerald (Fargo, ND) lost 5-4 to Caden Hebert (Eau Claire, WI) in the Final of the USA Curling U18 National Championships, held January 12 - 15, 2023 in Lafayette, Colorado. To advance to the championship game, Fitzgerald won 6-5 over Caiden Rose (Denver, CO) in the semifinals of the 2023 USA Curling U18 National Championships in Lafayette, Colorado;
 
Fitzgerald finished 3-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fitzgerald defeated Brayden Hanson (Tempe, AZ) 13-2, then won 7-6 against Bowen Zheng (Seattle, WA). Fitzgerald went on to lose 6-5 against Nicholas Cenzalli (Wayland, MA). Fitzgerald responded with a 9-2 win over Nicholas Schallmo (Glenview, IL). Fitzgerald went on to lose 8-4 against Hebert in their final qualifying round match.
