Brad Fenton (New Westminster, BC) finished 1-3 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fenton lost 8-6 to Cameron de Jong (Penticton, BC), droppimg another game, 8-2 to Paul Cseke (Victoria, BC) where Fenton responded with a 8-7 win over Cseke. Fenton went on to lose 9-6 against de Jong in their final qualifying round match.

Fenton earned 0.938 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, Fenton did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
