In their opening game, Paquet defeated Gregory Bornais (Trois-Rivieres, QC) 9-6, then won 10-5 against Steven Munroe (Saquenay, QC). Paquet went on to lose 10-7 against Vincent Roberge (Levis, QC). Paquet lost 8-6 to Quebec's Pascal Girard where Paquet responded with a 7-4 win over Zackary Wise (Montreal, QC). Paquet won 10-1 against Patrick Bedard (val-d'Or, QC). Paquet went on to lose 10-8 against Alexandre Leduc (Valleyfield, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

Paquet earned 3.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, Paquet did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Paquet ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
