In their opening game, Winters lost 13-6 to Evan Robert (Sault Ste Marie, NONT), droppimg another game, 10-0 to Brendan Rajala (Sudbury, NONT). Winters lost 8-4 to Kamdyn Julien (New Liskeard, NONT) where Winters responded with a 9-7 win over Josh Hari (Thunder Bay, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
