Fraser Reid (Waterloo, ON) finished 1-2 in the 21-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Reid lost 9-6 to Mac Calwell (Ottawa, ON), then responded with a 9-1 win over Ethan Chisamore-Johnston (Ottawa, ON). Reid went on to lose 7-6 against Jordan McNamara (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Reid earned 0.938 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 23 of the event schedule, Reid did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
