Tony Germsheid (Edmonton, AB) finished 3-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Germsheid defeated Cole Adams (Calgary, AB) 8-4, then went on to lose 8-6 against Parker Konschuh (Edmonton, AB). Germsheid responded with a 6-5 win over Craig MacAlpine (Edmonton, AB). Germsheid won 11-10 against Jared Jenkins (Airdrie, AB). Germsheid went on to lose 5-0 against Konschuh. Germsheid lost 9-3 to Jacob Libbus (Okotoks, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Germsheid earned 1.688 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 23 of the event schedule, Germsheid did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Germsheid ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
